Tasting notes — Bright aromatics of wet slate, lemongrass, and in-season peaches. The weight is dense, and the fruit is present. Like prosciutto wrapped melon sprinkled with sea salt. A finish of sappy blossom and nuttiness comes through as the wine reached room temperature.
Vinification — Harvested on September 29, 2022, the Albariño was picked at 21.5 Brix and pressed into a stainless steel tank. Once native ferementation had slowed down, the wine was racked into nuetral French barriques and aged sur lie until being bottled unfined and unfiltered in April 2023.
